A working hoveroard happens to be the dream of scientist and geeks alike since that time "Back for the Future 2." There has been countless tries and hoaxes over time but all were misses. Until two engineers at Hendo that is certainly. Greg and Jill Henderson have created the real deal. A board that may support a grownup and it hovers an inch up and running. How does this work? The secret may be the ground needs to be made of metal to use it. So how does an entire metal skate park sound? Greg and Jill don it kickstarter in hopes of building one.
From Kickstarter :
"The magic behind the Hoverboard Testberichte is in its four disc-shaped engines. These build a special magnetic field which literally pushes against itself, generating the lift which levitates our board off the floor.
So where does the HENDO hoverboard stand today? Well, about 1 inch up and running. As you can see from your video above, the prototype is real also it works! But to view it hover in person, and much better yet, to defy gravity by riding it, is one thing you need to experience too.
With the support of the kickstarter community, many of us can. We need your assist to put the finishing touches on the Hendo Hoverboard, to assist us produce them, and build places to ride them"
Currently they made 10 prototypes along with our help well be able to produce countless maybe even build hoverboard parks, and even one day, perhaps, utilize nifty technology for other modes of transportation. Then it really will be like the way ahead for 2015 we've all seen around the screen.
The only draw back could be the price of the hoverboard is marked as $ 10,000
