When most couples start planning their wedding on a budget, they do not know how much it is going to cost them for the things they want for their wedding. I did not know how expensive everything was going to be when Trevor and I started making plans for our wedding on a budget. I wanted everything to be perfect and was determined to do what I could to make sure that my wedding would be everything that I wanted it to be.

Once we started our planning for our wedding, we were in for quite a surprise when we started checking the prices of the things that we wanted for our wedding. We soon realized that if we were to have the kind of wedding we wanted, we would have to find some ways to save money if we were going to have our wedding on a budget.

We decided to ask our friends and family to join us in our search for ideas to save money and help us with our plans for our special day.

We soon found that the cost of the reception hall was much more than we thought it would be. We realized that we would have to find a way to keep our spending within our wedding budget. We also found that the cost of decorating the reception hall would be more expensive than we had originally thought, especially if we were going to have the wedding decorations we wanted.

We decided to off set the cost of our wedding decorations by making them ourselves. We again enlisted the help of family and friends and got them involved in helping us with the making of our decorations for our reception.

Working to make our decorations for our wedding was a lot of fun. We all worked together on a project that was both fun and important to our wedding plans. It was really a cost-cutting idea and we were very pleased that so many people were willing to help with this project.

advice here are some cost cutting ideas that will help you save money if you are planning a wedding on a small budget.

1) AVOID GETTING MARRIED DURING THE SUMMER

Getting married during the peak wedding season can be an expensive choice. Choosing to have your wedding during off season can have a big impact on your budget. This will reduce the cost of your wedding by quite a bit. You will be able to save money on most of the things you want for your wedding. Limousines, flowers, room rentals, tuxedo rentals, and other services you may want will be a lot cheaper in the off season than during the peak wedding season. THis is really a good way to save money when you are planning a wedding on a small budget.

2) SEARCH FOR SALES

Shop around before buying candles, wedding cakes, centerpieces, etc and don't limit your purchases to stores that only sell wedding supplies. Their prices are higher and you usually can get most things you need at your local stores at a lower price. Do not forget to ask for discounts when you spend a lot of money in a particular store. Most places are open to the idea and probably will be happy to do so.

3) FINDING A PLACE FOR YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION

Choose your reception room with care. Compare prices before you

decide on a venue for your wedding reception. The site selection

for your reception can affect your budget significantly.

You can actually have a wonderful wedding at the home of a relative or friend. You can also visit local churches and public parks to see what it would cost if you wanted to have your wedding reception there. Their prices are generally less expensive and some local parks may allow you to have your wedding reception in the park at no charge at all.

4) MAKE YOUR OWN WEDDING DECORATIONS

Wedding decorations can be an expensive purchase so it is really a

good idea to make your own decorations. No need to spend a lot of money on decorations when you can easily make your own. They are fun and easy to make and it is a good way to spend time with friends and family. They are usually very willing to participate in this idea to help you save money on your wedding.

5) CHOOSE FLOWERS THAT ARE IN SEASON

An easy way to save money on flowers is to choose flowers that are in season. They are more readily available and much cheaper. Skip the roses and orchids, as they are usually more expensive. Instead choose daisies, carnations, baby's breath, chyrsanthemums or gladioli. These flowers are not as expensive and will work just as well. Another good option is to choose silk or dried flowers. They are also much cheaper and just as beautiful.
